Cookie policy
Last updated: 2026-08-20
This cookie policy explains what cookies and similar technologies www.efalign.com, operated by Efalign Sağlık Teknolojileri (“Efalign”, “we”), uses and how you can control them. It covers this website only; the iLigner product website and its portals have their own notices.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember something about your visit — for example a preference. Similar technologies include localStorage, a browser storage area that keeps data on your device without sending it anywhere by itself. Cookies set by us are “first-party”; cookies set by our service providers are “third-party”.
2. What this site uses
This site is deliberately light on cookies. It sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The complete list:
il_consent — functional (first-party)
- Purpose: remembers the choice you make in the cookie consent banner (granted or denied), so we do not ask again on every visit.
- Duration: 180 days.
- When it exists: only when the consent banner is active — that is, only when an analytics service requiring consent (Google Analytics) is configured on the site. If no such service is active, this cookie is never set.
Cloudflare security cookies — functional/security (third-party)
- Purpose: Cloudflare provides our content delivery network, security filtering and the invisible Turnstile bot check on the contact page. In connection with these services Cloudflare may set strictly functional security cookies (for example to complete a bot challenge). They are not used for advertising.
- Duration and names: determined by Cloudflare; see Cloudflare’s own cookie documentation for the current details.
Plausible Analytics — no cookies
- If enabled, we measure aggregate site usage with Plausible Analytics. Plausible is a cookieless tool: it sets no cookies, stores no persistent identifier in your browser and does no cross-site tracking. It produces only aggregate statistics such as page views and referral sources, which is why it can run without a consent banner.
Google Analytics cookies — statistics (conditional, consent only)
- A slot for Google Analytics exists in the site’s code but is dormant. If we ever activate it, the Google script — and the statistics cookies it sets, whose names typically begin with _ga — will load only after you explicitly accept via the cookie banner. Before consent, not even the script is loaded. Durations for these cookies are set by Google.
3. localStorage: your contact-form draft
The contact form saves a draft of what you type (name, email, phone, category, message) in your browser’s localStorage so a page reload does not lose your text. This is not a cookie: it stays on your device, is never transmitted to us as a draft, expires after 15 minutes and is deleted when your message is sent. You can clear it at any time via your browser’s site-data settings.
4. Managing cookies and withdrawing consent
- Consent banner: when the banner is active, you can accept or decline consent-based cookies there. Your choice is stored in il_consent; consent-based scripts load only after acceptance.
- Browser settings: every major browser lets you block, restrict or delete cookies and site data for individual websites. Deleting the il_consent cookie makes the banner (when active) appear again so you can choose anew. Blocking functional cookies may affect the contact page’s bot check.
- Questions: write to [email protected].
5. More information
How we handle personal data more broadly — including the contact form and your rights under Turkish data protection law — is described in our privacy policy and the KVKK notice on this site. We may update this cookie policy when the site’s technology changes; the current version is always published here with its last-updated date.
